As a Social Worker, you will take on the responsibility of assessing and supporting students dealing with personal or school-related issues. Your work will include evaluating their social functioning, developing individualized education plans, and conducting individual and group counseling sessions. Engaging with a multi-disciplinary team will ensure unified strategies for optimal student development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive social intervention plans
• Support students through counseling and follow-ups
• Work with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated actions
• Conduct assessments and screenings of student needs
• Advise teachers and staff for effective student support
Requirements:
• Member of the Ordre professionnel des travailleurs sociaux du Québec
• Related experience with school-aged children
• Familiarity with community resources for children
• Effective communication skills in English and French
• Ability to travel across the WQSB territory
