Join SpaceX as a Software Engineer focused on Starshield, leveraging Starlink technology for national security.
Your role involves developing advanced test software for critical spacecraft components.
As a member of the Starshield Test team, you will design and create testing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance of our flight components. This position demands expertise in Python, C, or C++, alongside a high sense of urgency and problem-solving abilities. You will operate within a cross-disciplinary environment and collaborate closely with hardware engineers to innovate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop test and automation software using Python and similar languages
• Write automation software for flight hardware interactions
• Create custom automation solutions for engineering challenges
• Analyze complex test data for acceptance criteria
• Maintain automation infrastructure and troubleshoot failures
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in computer science or 2+ years of experience
• Proficient in C, C++, or Python
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience with automation in interdisciplinary settings
• Ability to work extended hours as required
