Become a key player in the Transportation Department as a Dispatcher with PRN. Coordinate and manage bus schedules for regular and extracurricular trips in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, this essential role involves dispatching buses and drivers, preparing maps, and keeping track of employee schedules. You'll also respond to issues as they arise and help ensure safe operations, making this role vital to transportation safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and dispatch buses and drivers effectively
• Call out casual drivers as needed for trips
• Prepare road maps and maintain student bus lists
• Track absences and overtime for employees
• Invoice schools and third parties for trips
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalency required
• Minimum Class 2 driver’s license with air endorsement
• 2 years of transportation dispatch experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Clean Drivers Abstract essential
