Stocktaking Counter Inventory Verification

Inventory counting and asset verification define this Stocktaking Counter role, performed remotely across Canada or in Ottawa–Gatineau. Travel and warehouse work are required.

At DND facilities, you will perform physical counts, identify materiel, and support inventory reconciliation. The work includes recording quantities, serial numbers, batch information, and manufacturer part numbers. You will also apply labels, verify condition tags, and complete documentation.

• Perform physical inventory counts at DND facilities
• Record quantities, serial numbers, and batch information
• Verify manufacturer part numbers and inventory details
• Identify discrepancies, damaged materials, and expired materials
• Affix inventory labels and barcodes

• Six months inventory counting or stocktaking experience within five years
• Eligibility for Reliability Status and/or Secret Clearance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 kg
• Ability to work at heights up to 15 metres
