The RoleTo provide an effective and efficient business support service to the SSC Business Delivery Manager, SSC Leadership team and to all teams in the Shared Service Centre ensuring an effective two-way flow of communication and information in supporting SSC recruitment and resourcing, SSC colleague database, diary management and all business delivery operational support functions.
- Maintain resource records for the Shared Service Centre (SSC) including;
- Providing and management of an efficient recruitment pipeline from the scheduling of Assessment Centre's, arranging interviews and completing the onboarding process.
- Regular review of SSC Business Operations Work Instructions and Procedures
- Regular review and management of SSC colleague database.
- All operational workforce planning activities.
- All SSC P&C related support management.
- Monthly data reporting and metrics to SLT and internal customers.
- Develop and maintain SSC People Dashboards and metrics.
- All SSC Operational support activities.
- Provide meeting support (i.e. assisting the Business Delivery Manager to develop agendas, circulate actions, prepare and circulate slides or meeting material and the organising of the meeting including attendees and any logistics.
- Provide business support as required on special projects and in support of the SSC.
- Responsible for managing and updating relevant databases and systems to maintain accurate and effective records and retrieve management information from the system (including taking on Super User responsibilities for systems as required).
- Management of electronic filing of CAA records and decisions using appropriate naming conventions in line with CAA records management policy ensuring accuracy for regulatory purposes.
- Providing support to the SLT in the collation and delivery of data and information as required by the management team or technical experts.
- Providing support in preparation for any Stakeholder events.
- Undertake training, mentoring and oversight of the work of SSC Business Support Officers using standard induction processes and approaches.
- Other ad-hoc business support tasks when required.

- Undertake tasks as set by the SSC Leadership Team as required.
- An interest in and/or experience of working in an Aviation environment would be advantageous.
- Experienced Administrator, HR Experience preferable.
- Ability to research, assimilate and provide information is essential.
- Education to GCSE or higher standard in English and Maths.
- Proven time management skills including an ability to effectively prioritise in a busy environment to meet business needs and customer needs.
- Methodical and organised with an eye for detail.
- Excellent IT Skills across Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a variety of internal and external people, including people whose first language may not be English.
- Produce good quality, accurate work to deadlines.
- To work effectively in a small team, the post holder must be prepared to be cross-trained and share administrative tasks including routine administrative duties.
