Your Role

Are you passionate about Maths and ready to inspire the next generation? The Gatwick School is seeking a Trainee Teacher of Maths on a fixed-term, full‑time basis to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to train towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while gaining valuable classroom experience within an all-through school.

• Degree in a relevant subject essential
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4‑9 (A‑C) or equivalent essential

• Knowledge of SEN Code of Practice essential
• Ability to analyse and evaluate pupil data in order to set aspirational and challenging targets for individuals essential
• Ability to develop a classroom environment ethos and structure for managing behaviour which enables pupils to become independent and self‑managing essential
• Ability to think creatively and to prioritise essential
• Excellent communication (written, oral, and presentation skills) essential
• Excellent self‑awareness and ability to manage self essential
• Willingness to learn from others and both seek and take advice essential
• Ability to integrate equality policies into action essential
