Position: Audit School Leaver Programme (Autumn 2026

Job Description

As an auditor you will connect with clients to identify risks and challenges in their businesses. Your role involves examining financial records, performing audit tests, attending stock‑takes, and completing audit files, all while maintaining the high standards upheld by Grant Thornton’s audit quality review.

A look into your future
  • Hands‑on experience across a variety of clients and audit tasks.
  • Early responsibility and ownership of client work.
  • Development of an internal and external network to provide rigorous challenge and market‑leading insights.
  • Experience in studying financial records, carry out audit tests, attend stock‑takes and complete audit files.
  • Travel to client offices where required.
  • Structured on‑the‑job learning program.
  • Time to study and revise for exams, with support toward ACA qualification.

In the first two years you will work toward completing the CFAB™ (Certificate in Finance Accounting and Business), and in the next three years you will move toward ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification.
