Interim​/Temporary Internal Audit and Risk

Your new role:

Reporting to the Head of Audit & Risk, you will be joining a globally recognised organisation on an interim basis. In this hands-on role, your varied duties will include:

• Delivery of assurance reviews, focusing on root cause analysis and providing recommendation that will add value to the business
• Communicating key findings and recommendations for improvement from each assurance review to the relevant business stakeholders
• Producing reports detailing the delivery of the assurance programme
• Working to continuously improve and evolve internal audit methodology, processes and procedures.
• Providing support relating to risk management activities, including enterprise risk management.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Relevant accounting qualification
• Strong technical background in internal audit (ideally gained in an operationally focused business)
• Experience of undertaking complex internal audits with multiple stakeholders
• Awareness of best practice approaches to risk management and internal controls
• Proven track record of delivering a comprehensive audit plan aligned to risk-based principles
• Able to develop strong stakeholder management relationships
• Experience of reporting and identifying process improvement
