Airport Deep Cleaner - Night Shifts Airport

Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are excited to be recruiting for Airport Cleaners to join one of our well-respected and successful clients at Gatwick Airport. This job offers full time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic working conditions and facilities.

• Rate of Pay: £15.71 per hour.
• Night Shifts available: 20:30pm to 05:00am
• Shift Pattern:
  Monday to Friday - You must be flexible to work both shifts.
• Weekly Pay (every Friday).
• Full training provided.
• Temp to Perm (performance based)
• ASAP Start!

• Deep Cleaning:
  Perform intense cleaning of all terminal areas, including rest rooms, lounges, gate areas, and walkways.
• Surface Care:
  Hoovering, high-level dusting, scrubbing, and wet/dry mopping hard floors to remove grime.
• Specialized Sanitation:
  Operate specialized machinery (e.g., floor buffers, steam cleaners, industrial pressure washers) to sanitize surfaces.
• High-Touch Points:
  Meticulously disinfect high-touch areas such as security trays, door handles, handrails, and elevator buttons.
• Waste Management:
  Emptying large waste bins, sanitizing bin areas, and managing recycling/waste disposal systems.
• Documentation:
  Document routine inspections and deep cleaning activities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Security:
  Adhere strictly to airport security processes and maintain a safe working environment (Airside/Landside).

• Ability to work well in a team.
• Great work ethic.
• Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National .
• UK Settled Status (If applicable).
• Proof of National Insurance.
• Proof of (current) Address.
• 5 Year Address History.
• 5 Year Work Reference History.
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.
• Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.

As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
