Role Description
The TGT Social Science role is a full-time, on-site position located in Gaya. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational standards. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance, maintaining academic records, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress. The teacher will participate in school events, parent interactions, and departmental meetings, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
Qualifications
(B.ED is compulsion)

* Strong grounding in Social Science and related domains of Science to support interdisciplinary learning.

* Formal Education background in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or related disciplines, preferably at the graduate level.

* Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate student performance, and refine teaching strategies.

* Effective Communication skills for clear classroom instruction & student guidance.

* Research skills to update teaching content, incorporate current events, and enhance curriculum with relevant examples.

* Prior teaching experience at middle or secondary school level, preferably in CBSE

* Ability to manage classrooms, use educational technology, and create inclusive lesson plans for diverse learners.

* Commitment to professional ethics, continuous learning, and participation in training or workshops.
