The Adolescent Development Officer reports directly to the Chief of Gaziantep Field Office, who retains overall supervisory and managerial responsibility for the position. The Adolescent Development and Participation Section-lead, based in Ankara, provides technical supervision and guidance within the Officer’s area of work.

UNICEF Türkiye Country Office Adolescent Development and Participation (ADAP) Section works closely with government institutions, municipalities, private sector partners, civil society organizations, and young people, to strengthen systems enabling more adolescents and young people, including refugees, to access opportunities for skills development, participation, and civic engagement.

The Officer provides professional technical, operational and administrative assistance throughout the programming process through the application of theoretical and technical skills in researching, collecting, analyzing and presenting technical programme information and learning organizational rules, regulations and procedures, to support the development and formulation of the adolescent development and participation programmes/projects in Gaziantep Field Office.
