Industrialization Engineer

Role Description
The Industrialization Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gemert. This position is responsible for leading the industrialization of new products transferred from the global project team and ensuring a smooth transition into serial production.
The role focuses on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting production readiness, and driving continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with HQ Project Management, EU Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams, the Industrialization Engineer ensures new sensing solutions are launched efficiently, meet customer and quality requirements, and achieve stable, cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the local industrialization of new products transferred from HQ, from project handover through Start of Production (SOP).
Develop, validate and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, tooling and production equipment.
Define manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process parameters and production standards.
Drive process capability, yield improvement, cycle time reduction and cost optimization.
Analyze production data and lead root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
Support product design reviews by providing manufacturing and process feedback during new product introduction.
Support engineering changes (ECN/ECR) and ensure timely implementation in production.
Work closely with Quality, Production and Supply Chain to resolve manufacturing issues and support customer requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline.
3+ years of experience in Industrialization, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or NPI within automotive or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
Working knowledge of automotive core tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan and process validation.
Experience in manufacturing process development, production line setup and product launch.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with SPC, MSA, 8D, root cause analysis and statistical process control.

Experience with CAD software and common engineering tools is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Fluent in English;
Dutch is an advantage.
