PartTime Licensed Financial Planner

Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Financial Planner to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial concepts and be able to provide comprehensive financial planning services to clients. Primary responsibilities will be related to financial analysis, generating and updating investment models, rebalancing accounts, writing financial newsletters quarterly, helping clients with tax documents and any other financial documents.

• Assists the lead advisor as a “Client Relationship Manager,” which includes answering client questions about investment issues, processing simple investment requests, documenting client communications
• Assists the lead advisor with technical investment analysis, updates to investment models, rebalancing client accounts, client account investment analysis.
• Works with lead advisor on client meeting preparation.
• Creates a quarterly financial newsletter and distribution to clients

• Minimum of two years’ experience in the financial services industry
• Series 7, 63, 65 and Life Insurance licensed
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Ability to recognize and provide solutions to problems
• Must be interested in following economic, markets, and political analysts. Must be able to maintain an analysis lens that is non-emotional and non-politically orientated.
• Exhibit strong ethics and a desire to help clients and give them extraordinary service.
• Must pass criminal and credit background checks

• Salaried part-time position, starting at $35/hour
• Monday-Thursday, 4/hours/day with flexibility.
• Potential for more hours and more responsibility/pay.
• Medical reimbursement (EBHRA) after 3 years of employment.
• Paid vacation of 3 weeks.
• Paid holiday time off the week of Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Years, varies every year.
