Registered Nurse – Inpatient Neurology Unit – Part Time Days

Salary: $34.50 – $55.20 per hour (based on experience).

Schedule: Two 12‑hour shifts per week (7:00 A–7:30 P) with every third weekend and rotating holidays required.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze data, identify expected outcomes, develop and implement individualized plans, coordinate care delivery and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Direct care and determine the appropriate utilization of any assistant involved in providing direct patient care.
• Collaborate with patient, family, physicians and ancillary staff to create documented plans focused on outcomes and decisions related to care delivery.
• Participate in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Evaluate and document the patient’s responses to nursing interventions in the health record and properly individualize the plan of care based on the evaluation of findings.
• Utilize the best available evidence, including research findings, to guide practice decisions.

Qualifications –

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with others
• Strong analytic abilities

Preferred:

• Experience in acute care inpatient nursing
