The Associate Lead is primarily responsible for supporting management in general operations of the store to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability with sales and register transactions.

• Promotes customer service by ensuring associates greet and assist customers; responds to inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Performs basic operations activities including cash handling and reporting, price changes, merchandise handling, and open/closing duties; reviews time sheets and payroll documentation for accuracy.
• Monitors associate sales activities and productivity, acknowledges performance and communicates it; motivates and trains associates to achieve full potential.
• Maintains awareness of customers to increase service levels and reduce security risks; stays current on operational policies regarding payment and exchanges.
• Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; presents and displays merchandise accordingly.
• Supports and administers receipt and dispatch of inventory and supplies per company policy.
• Supervises associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, reconciling cash receipts, or customer services; prepares weekly schedules for floor coverage.
• Models sales expectations, utilizes techniques, and communicates product knowledge; recommends merchandise selections.
• Builds and maintains a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing.
• Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by Management.
• Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and replenishment.
• Assists in developing store associates; interprets KPI reports and delivers coaching; provides feedback to Store Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Minimum 2 years prior retail or sales management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
• Able to travel to stores within the district.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
• Physical ability: lift/carry 50 pounds, climb, reach, push/pull.
• Regular attendance essential; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

The wage range for this position is $16.00 to $20.00.
