Apex3 Security has relationships with over 35 clients and close to 400 employees. Our specialty is the Chicago and Suburban market, which allows us to provide a close relationship versus global service providers.

Exterior vehicle or foot patrol of the property

Povide rapid and appropriate assistance to tenants, public and management office

Access control of all common landlord areas

Document incidents that occur throughout shift

Proactive to problems/issues and violations to lease agreements and property rules

Enforcement of employee parking

Emergency response to fire alarms, medical and disturbances on the property

Assist in the apprehension of offenders when needed

Provide tenant and customer escorts when requested

Ability to work outside for extended periods of time in all weather conditions

Permitted to operate a motor vehicle in the state of Illinois (Valid DL required; subject to periodic auditing).

Ability to effectively communicate with hard to please public, demonstrating strong customer service skills

Ability to work independently on all shifts

Must be at least 20 years of age.

Must be a high school graduate (GED accepted) and provide us with a copy of your diploma and/or transcripts.

Must possess a 20 Hour Basic Security Certification

Must pass a stringent pre-employment background investigation (including drug screen), demonstrating a stable work history and/or education.

Must disclose all criminal convictions and pending charges.

Must be a cooperative team player with good oral and written communication skills.

Must be capable of evaluating, investigating and reporting all types of security and law enforcement incidents.

Must be able to withstand extended periods of walking and standing; restrain violent subjects; make physical arrests; assist in fire fighting.

Must maintain a working telephone number through which we can contact you.

Must have reliable transportation.

Must have no more than 3 violations on your driving record within a 2 year period (if driving a company vehicle is required as part of job duties).

Must wear our uniform and maintain our high standards for grooming and appearance.

Must provide a valid PERC, only if you have received one in the past
