This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Full Time: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM, shifts to be scheduled between Monday and Friday, including a holiday rotation schedule with flexibility.

Job Description
The CT Tech performs technical radiographic assignments, exercising complex skills, judgment, and knowledge of the principles and methods of Radiologic Technology. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic studies and operating portable diagnostic radiographic equipment as needed, while adhering to universal infection control precautions.
Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic and CT imaging equipment with accuracy across different modalities.

• Evaluates images for quality and demonstrates accuracy of positioning based on procedure guidelines.

• Provides clear and concise instructions during procedures to help calm and relieve stress for patients.

• Maintains competency in two specific modalities and ensures proper radiation protection for self, patients, and other personnel.

• Demonstrates flexibility by assuming emergency call on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Maintains competency in RIS and PACS, entering and editing patient exams, charges, and records as necessary.

• Performs required quality control activities and adheres to NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT Certification

• New York State License

• Minimum of 1 year CT Tech experience, with some radiology experience preferred
