Senior Accountant – Temporary Assignment

Workload: 40 hours per week

You will join a General Accounting team to support the preparation of annual financial statements, covering a maternity leave
. The role involves a wide range of accounting and financial support activities, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with internal procedures.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing modifications on purchase orders
• Creating commitments for specific types of contracts
• Carrying out various monthly accounting operations
• Participating in quarterly closing activities
• Performing balance sheet account reconciliations
• Maintaining currency exchange rates in the ERP system and performing revaluations
• Monitoring orders used for accruals related to material expenditure
• Responding to ad hoc accounting and financial requests
• Maintaining regular, professional, and high-quality communication with internal and external stakeholders in English and French

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• More than 10 years of professional experience in an accounting environment
• Solid experience in general accounting or financial accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting entries and bookings
• Advanced user of Excel and an accounting ERP system
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French (advanced level required)
• Organized, reliable, and able to work accurately in a structured environment
