Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager

Your mission:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, reconciliations, accruals, and closing processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting.
• Support management reporting through P&L analysis, balance sheet reviews, variance analysis, and financial data preparation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, tax requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of accounting records, contracts, invoices, payments, and compliance-related information.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, treasury, trade finance, and business teams to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions.
• Contribute to accounting projects, process improvements, system enhancements, and reporting automation.

• 5–8 years of experience in accounting, ideally within a commodity trading company or an international trading environment.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, closing processes, reconciliations, financial statements, and management reporting.
• Good understanding of Swiss accounting standards or international accounting practices.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, Swiss Certified Specialist in Finance and Accounting, or Chartered Accountant is a strong asset.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to take ownership of accounting topics.
• Comfortable working with ERP/accounting systems and Excel.
• Reliable, structured, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced international environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with auditors, banks, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
