Geneva | Permanent Position
Join an international financial services organisation as a Junior Accountant, supporting day-to-day accounting activities, reconciliations, reporting and year-end processes across a portfolio of companies and bank accounts.
ResponsibilitiesRecord accounting entries for various bank accounts and companies.
Process bank transactions, intercompany transactions, investment movements and revaluations.
Manage foreign exchange revaluations, accruals and prepayments.
Review and control incoming invoices and expenses.
Liaise with Treasury regarding supplier payments.
Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with quarterly funding requests and management accounts.
Support the preparation of annual budgets and year-end closing processes.
Assist with audit and reporting requirements where necessary.
Maintain accurate and organised accounting and corporate administration files.
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports.
Support the accounting team with various projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes.
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
, obtained in Switzerland or France.2–3 years of relevant accounting experience
, ideally within a Family Office, fiduciary, audit firm or similar financial environment
.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent command of French
, with a fully fluent and professional level both written and spoken.Very strong English skills
, both written and spoken, with the ability to work confidently in an international environment.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
, including advanced formulas and data analysis; experience with other accounting and financial software is highly valued.Strong IT skills and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new accounting systems and tools.
Strong analytical and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Reliable, proactive and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial and corporate information.
Comfortable working in an international environment and managing multiple priorities.
