For our major project in Geneva, we are looking for a: Civil Site Supervisor
The Civil Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily on-site operations and ensuring that civil works are executed safely, on schedule, and in strict accordance with technical documentation, project specifications, and quality standards. This role acts as a key link between site management, subcontractors, and the workforce, requiring strong organizational and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily civil works activities on site.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractors and site personnel to ensure efficient execution of works.
- Monitor work progress and report deviations, delays, and potential risks.
- Verify compliance with project drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Support site management in planning activities and resource allocation.
- Conduct inspections and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
Requirements
- Technical education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role in civil construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Experience in supervising subcontractors and coordinating construction teams.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability and willingness to learn and work with project management and construction software platforms such as DALUX.
- Fluent proficiency in at least two of the following languages:
English, Italian, and French.
