Library Associate, Innovation; Part Time​/Pro-Rated

Do you get excited about tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, and design software—and enjoy sharing that excitement with others? Join our Innovation team to assist patrons in our Makerspace and lead engaging hands‑on classes. We’re looking for a proactive, customer‑focused team player who thrives on delivering WOW‑level service.

• Deliver exceptional customer support for all Makerspace activities, including the Recording Studio.
• Guide and train patrons on maker tools and projects, such as 3D printing, Glowforge laser cutting, and sewing.
• Design and lead engaging, accessible maker and technology programs.
• Assist with Makerspace inventory and ensure smooth circulation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Tech‑to‑Go equipment.
• Stay informed on current and emerging maker and technology trends to enhance offerings and user experience.

• Associates degree or equivalent level of experience.
• 2 years of related experience, including maker and technology experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with the public.
