Referens Clinic is a new healthcare institution located in the Vergers district of Meyrin, in the Geneva Metropolitan Area, offering state-of-the-art infrastructure and advanced medical technology. The clinic provides a comprehensive medical and surgical platform specifically designed for outpatient care on the right bank of Geneva, a rapidly developing area. It offers a wide range of services, including specialist consultations, advanced diagnostic examinations, and outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures.

The facility is accessible to patients covered by basic health insurance as well as those with private insurance, ensuring a broad and diverse patient base. Referens Clinic is committed to high-quality, patient-centered care in a modern, innovative environment.

This is a part-time, on-site role based in the Geneva Metropolitan Area for general practitioners, cardiologists, gynecologists, and other medical specialists, with a particular focus on ambulatory surgery, including ophthalmology. Clinicians will provide primary and specialty care, conduct consultations, evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate diagnostic tests and follow-up. Daily activities include performing outpatient procedures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting clinical encounters in line with regulatory standards, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care.

Team members will also participate in care pathways for ambulatory surgery, contribute to clinical quality improvement, and support a positive experience for patients across basic and private insurance plans.

• Strong skills in Primary Care and Family Medicine for managing a broad range of patient needs.
• Competence in Medicine and Urgent Care to assess and treat acute conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Experience as Primary Care Physicians or specialists (e.g., cardiology, gynecology, ophthalmology) in ambulatory care.
• Valid medical degree (MD or equivalent) and board certification/recognition in relevant specialty.
• Current license to practice medicine in Switzerland or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience with outpatient and day-surgery pathways, ideally including ophthalmologic procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in French; additional languages (e.g., English, German, Italian) are an advantage.
• Willingness to participate in quality assurance, clinical governance, and continuous professional development.
