Main Purpose of the Role

Graduate Assistants are integral members of our boarding community. They bring energy, enthusiasm, and a flexible mindset to support students’ well‑being and personal growth. Working alongside House Parents, Graduate Assistants provide day‑to‑day pastoral support, participate in activities, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for students.

This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands‑on experience in education, youth work, or pastoral care. Graduate Assistants serve as role models, motivators, and reliable points of support for our boarders, helping them develop essential life skills, independence, and resilience.

One position is open ASAP for a lady. Other positions are available from August 2026 (male and female).

  • Administrative Duties: Ensure accurate and timely record‑keeping for attendance, student check‑ins, and other administrative tasks. Contribute to student progress reports, sharing observations with House Parents and the senior boarding team.
  • Safety and Security: Monitor student whereabouts and ensure they adhere to curfews and daily schedules. Follow protocols for handling missing students, fire drills, and medical emergencies.
  • Role Modeling: Demonstrate empathy, patience, and integrity, embodying the core values of the boarding community. Support students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds as they integrate into boarding life.
