. The United Nations, through its official portal, has announced its 64th “Graduate Study Programme” under the theme of “
AI and Emerging Technologies:
Realities, Risks and Opportunities

” and is seeking applications from dynamic and outstanding students from around the world to participate.

The program is a flagship education initiative of the UN hosted by the United Nations Office in Geneva, which offers students an exceptional opportunity to deepen their understanding of the United Nations and “International Geneva”. The UN Graduate Study Program is exclusively designed for individuals holding a bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled in the graduate degree program (MBA, PhD, Post Doctorals, MS, or equivalent) in recognized higher education institutions.

There are no country restrictions; the program is inviting applications from all nationals.

The study programme is highly competetive; individuals are screened based on their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, motivational letter, and recommendation letter. It’s a 2-week intensive summer program , scheduled to take place at Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, from 29 June to 10 July 2026. During the study program, participants will engage in intensive lectures, presentations, and group work, followed by visits to renowned institutions.

Eligiblity Criteria
  • The study program is open to all nationals
  • An individual’s age must be between 22 and 32 years old
  • Applicants must have completed their undergraduate degree
  • Currenly pursuing a graduate degree program (MBA, PhD, MS, or equivalent)
  • Applicants must be currently unemployed
  • Available to attend the program during the programme dates
  • Interest in the work of the United Nations
  • Possess Academic excellence
  • Demonstrate interest in attending the program
  • Relevant Professional work experience
  • Demonstrate interest in technology
  • Strong interpersonal and presentational skills
  • A team player able to collaborate effectively
Required Documents

The application requires the following documents:

  • CV/Resume (max one page)
  • A motivational video should not exceed 60 seconds
  • Recommendation letter one page
  • Copy of national  passport
  • Proof of degree enrollment
  • Application Window: December 5, 2025 – February 20, 2026
  • Result Announcement: April 2026, first week
  • Programme Dates: June 29 – July 10, 2026
