Are you passionate about fostering a culture of continuous learning and development? MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is seeking for a dynamic People Development Specialist to join our HR Team
The position will be based at MSC’s Head Office in Geneva.
Responsibilities- Assess Training Needs: Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the organization in collaboration with local entities.
- Develop Training Programs: Implement effective learning strategies and programs, including e-learning courses, workshops, train-the-trainers, and other types of training sessions.
- Facilitate Training: Deliver training sessions and facilitate learning modules to ensure employees gain the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Measure the impact of training programs through follow-up studies and feedback to ensure they meet organizational goals.
- Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS): Coordinate all pre- and post-program activities within the LMS, including tracking completion records and analysing trends.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with various departments, subject matter experts, and external vendors to design, develop, and deliver high-impact learning solutions.
- Maintain Training Records: Keep an updated curriculum database and training records to ensure all training activities are documented
- Handling internal audits: managing training data for Sustainability/CSRD reporting/ISO audits
- Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest developments in learning and development to incorporate new methods and technologies into training programs.
- 5-7 years in a learning and development role with instructional design and delivery experience in an international environment
- Instructional Design: Create engaging and effective training programs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills - English: C2 level;
Other languages: minimum C1 level in Italian and French. - Analytical
Skills:
Assess training needs and evaluate program effectiveness - Project Management: Manage multiple projects and coordinate efforts across teams
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with training design software, AI tools, and Learning Management Systems
- Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in training development and delivery
- Collaboration: Work effectively with managers, subject matter experts, and external vendors
