Operations Technical Services (OTS), part of Total Energies Trading & Shipping is looking to hire an intern to support Total Energies’ ambitions and growth. By joining the team, the intern will support the Next Gen Ops Learning initiative
, aimed at transforming traditional operational training (currently in PPT/PDF format) into engaging microlearning video modules
. This role is critical to reducing dependency on manual, expert‑led training and creating a scalable, digital knowledge library for trading operators worldwide.
- Review existing PowerPoint decks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and process notes to extract essential content.
- Work hand‑by‑hand with training owners to define learning objectives and structure modules using microlearning principles.
- Rewrite technical content into clear, operator‑friendly language.
- Develop storyboards and outlines for video modules.
- Create interactive learning modules using internal tools (e.g., VIBE, Synthesia).
- Incorporate learning interactions such as click‑to‑reveal steps, scenario questions, and knowledge checks (Multiple‑Choice Questions – MCQs, true/false, drag‑and‑drop).
- Apply consistent templates for layout, navigation, and typography.
- Redesign slides for clarity and visual hierarchy.
- Produce simple animations and reusable visual assets (icons, diagrams).
- Maintain a clean, professional design aligned with TOTSA standards.
- Coordinate review cycles with SMEs.
- Validate technical accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
Perform QA checks for navigation, scoring, and accessibility.
Objectives- Convert 80+ critical operational trainings into interactive, digital modules.
Deliver high‑quality, visually engaging microlearning content that accelerates onboarding and improves knowledge retention

- Ability to simplify content and communicate clearly.
- Strong prompting skills.
- Understanding of instructional format principles (objectives, practice, checks).
- Attention to detail and quality mindset.
- Comfortable working with SMEs and managing iterative feedback.
- Basic motion graphics and visual design capability.
- Fluent English
- PowerPoint (advanced level).
- eLearning authoring tools (VIBE, Synthesia or similar).
- Graphic design tools (Canva, Figma, Illustrator or equivalent).
- Last year of Master degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Digital Media, UX, or similar.
- Portfolio demonstrating PPT‑to‑eLearning conversion and visual design skills.
- A tripartite agreement is mandatory
