Within the ITU Gender and Youth Office, under the supervision of the Associate Youth Programme Officer, the intern will:
- Participate in the ITU’s meaningful youth engagement work with and for young people globally.
- Assist in the implementation of the ITU Youth Strategy, particularly through the ITU Secretary-General’s Youth Advisory Board, the ITU Young Professionals Programme, the ITU Reverse Mentoring Initiative, and ITU Youth Leadership activities.
- Support the drafting and updating of reports, briefing notes, and other written materials on youth matters for internal and external audiences.
- Support ITU’s youth communications and community building efforts, amplifying ITU’s engagement with global youth through ITU social media and the ITU Future Innovators Podcast.

Unpaid Internship.
Please note that a non‑remunerated Internship position at ITU does not carry the same conditions of employment as a Short‑term or a Fixed‑term position. Mandatory Medical Insurance, travel expenses, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of the interns or sponsoring institutions.
Additional Information- Be under 30 years of age (Exceptions may be considered for candidates pursuing a Ph.D.).
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or post‑graduate programme, or be a recent graduate (within six months prior to the start of the internship).
- Be a citizen of a Member State of ITU.
