Are you a passionate Electronics Technician eager to take part in the development, manufacturing, and testing of electronic equipment for the quench protection systems of the superconducting magnets in the world’s largest and most complex particle accelerator? Take Part!
Within the Technology (TE) Department, in the Machine Protection and Electrical Integrity (MPE ) Group, you will be responsible for testing electronic crates and for implementing and operating custom-made electronics for the LHC superconducting magnet protection system.
- By the Final date to receive applications, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electrical, Electronic, and/or Electromechanical (or a related field)
and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma - You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
- Applicants with a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree are not eligible.
