CERN is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, construct, and integrate the mechanical structures for the CMS innermost region. You will develop beam-pipe supports, tracker bulkheads, and monitors, culminating in installation during the LHC Long Shutdown 3.
You will lead 3D modeling, participate in procurement, oversee fabrication QA, and supervise assembly of mock-ups and prototypes. Collaboration across institutes and integration work at CERN are required.
