As an Electrical Engineer, within the Beams Department, you will join the BE-EA-EC cabling team to work on projects for the LHC and CERN's experiments. We aim to optimise and maintain the infrastructure and provide strong support to the physicists. You will support the team with the study, execution and coordination of complex technical cabling projects.
Your responsibilities:- Support the gathering of user requirements and provide technical assistance.
- Contribute to technical studies, cost estimates, and project documentation.
- Assist with the procurement of materials and services.
- Participate in the assembly, installation, and testing of cabling and electrical equipment.
- Support workshop and on-site activities related to experiment infrastructure.
- Assist with prototype development, commissioning, and reception tests.
- Contribute to project coordination activities and technical meetings.
- Support the preparation and review of technical reports, specifications, and change requests.
- Apply and promote quality assurance procedures and documentation standards.
