Senior accountant

Are you a chartered accountant seeking a new professional challenge in Geneva? If you have at least 8 years of experience in accounting and reporting, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

• Take responsibility for day-to-day accounting activities for the family’s entities, including hands-on financial accounting and audits across multiple legal entities.
• Manage cash flow and maintain strong relationships with various banks and external advisers.
• Be involved in the day-to-day operations across several locations, including financial implications such as maintenance and rental of properties.
• Prepare weekly reports on cash, assets, and operations, and deliver ad hoc analyses to management.
• Maintain and continuously improve accounting processes, internal procedures, and reporting systems.
• Oversee asset management, including properties and other personal assets (finance, insurance, tax matters).
• Identify, assess, and monitor risks across operations (financial, operational, legal, reputational).
• Support compliance-related matters and ensure regulatory requirements are met.

• Professional accounting qualification and a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Discretion and ability to handle highly sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and flexible mindset.
• Proficiency in IT tools and reporting systems; willingness to improve and streamline processes.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential;
  French is an asset.
• Experience in international tax matters, trust accounting, and compliance is an advantage.
