Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Private Aviation Brokerage Company Overview

Our client is a fast-growing aviation service provider specializing in private jet brokerage. Acting as an intermediary between aircraft operators and high-net-worth individuals, families, and corporate clients, the company sources aircraft worldwide and arranges tailor‑made private jet trips. With a premium service offering and international client base, the business is expanding rapidly and seeks an experienced CFO to lead its financial strategy and operations.

• Define and execute the financial strategy to support profitable growth in a transaction-driven, service-oriented business.
• Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient and scalable financial operations.
• Partner with the CEO and senior management to support strategic decisions, pricing structures, and market expansion.

• Oversee all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, with a strong focus on transaction volumes, commission structures, and margin analysis.
• Implement robust systems for monitoring profitability by client, route, and deal type.
• Ensure effective cash flow management: client prepayments, operator payments, deposits, and credit risk control.
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs) for management, investors, and regulators.

• Support the company’s growth by optimizing financial processes around high-volume transactions.
• Provide financial insights on pricing strategies, customer profitability, and sales performance.
• Evaluate potential partnerships, new market entries, and technology investments (e.g., booking platforms, payment solutions).

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and aviation brokerage standards across multiple jurisdictions.
• Implement strong internal controls, processes, and risk management practices.
• Monitor exposure to foreign exchange, payment flows, and contractual obligations with clients and operators.

• Serve as the primary financial contact for shareholders, auditors, banks, and external advisors.
• Build trusted relationships with operators, clients, and service providers to ensure smooth financial transactions.

• Experience
  :
  Proven track record as CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader in a fast-paced services or brokerage business. Experience in aviation, travel, hospitality, or luxury services is highly desirable.
• Education
  :
  Degree in finance, accounting, or business administration. Professional certifications (CPA, CFA, Chartered Accountant) are a plus.
• Expertise
  :
  • Strong financial planning, reporting, and transactional accounting skills.
  • Solid understanding of brokerage economics (margins, commissions, liquidity cycles).
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional operations and cross-border transactions.
• Leadership
  :
  Skilled at building and motivating high-performing finance teams in an international, client-focused environment.
• Soft Skills
  :
  Commercially astute, detail-oriented, discreet, and able to communicate financial insights clearly to both investors and non-financial stakeholders.
• Languages
  :
  Fluency in English required;
  French or other European languages are a plus.
• Location & Mobility
  :
  Based in Europe, with flexibility to travel as needed.
