Financial Analyst, Family Office

Role overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented Financial Analyst to join a very dynamic family office representing an entrepreneurial family with diversified private investments, including a hospitality group.

The role is primarily focused on detailed financial analysis of revenue generation and expense structures across a range of international businesses, as well as financial monitoring across a broad portfolio of private investments. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing clear, structured weekly and monthly financial reports and supporting the strategic decision-making of the family office in order to pilot and drive strategic decisions for the businesses and private investments.

This position requires strong technical expertise in Excel, a deep understanding of how businesses operate, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly revenue reports
  • Monitor key performance indicators
  • Analyze trends, variances, and performance against budget and forecast
  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models and dashboards in Excel
  • Prepare monthly consolidated reports across private investments
  • Develop forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses
  • Present findings clearly to principals and directors
  • Business Support & Coordination
  • Contribute to improving internal reporting structures and financial processes
  • Maintain structured documentation and financial archives
  • Provide light executive support in terms of organization and coordination (meeting preparation, agenda structuring, travel bookings, document preparation, follow-ups)
  • Assist in general operational organization when required
Profile
  • Experience in financial analysis, controlling, or hospitality finance
  • Experience in hospitality revenue analysis is a significant advantage
  • Excellent command of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling, dashboards)
  • Strong understanding of business fundamentals and operational drivers
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear reporting
  • Highly organized, rigorous, and detail-oriented
  • Discreet and comfortable working in a family office environment
  • Italian speaker is a plus
  • Analytical mindset with strategic thinking
  • Able to work independently while maintaining close coordination with principals
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
