The role Documentary Credit Specialist focuses on managing and processing documentary credit operations within the financial services sector. This position requires precision and a deep understanding of banking practices to ensure smooth and compliant transactions.

For our client, a bank in Geneva, we are currently looking for 2 documentary credit officers ( A junior and a senior candidates)

• Process and issue documentary credits in compliance with international standards and internal guidelines.
• Ensure timely and accurate handling of letters of credit and related documents.
• Verify and validate documentation for compliance with UCP and ISBP guidelines.
• Monitor and manage the lifecycle of credit operations from issuance to settlement.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to credit activities.
• Provide expertise and advisory support on documentary credit matters.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.

• Solid knowledge of documentary credit operations and international banking regulations.
• Proficiency in French and in English.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
