- Lead all finance, financial control and regulatory reporting activities for the Swiss legal entity, ensuring accurate financial information and compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain effective governance over capital, liquidity, balance sheet management and financial risks, safeguarding the financial soundness of the Swiss legal entity.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance function that delivers robust controls, regulatory compliance and operational excellence in support of the Swiss franchise.
- Provide independent financial stewardship and challenge as a member of the Switzerland Executive Board and trusted adviser to the CEO, Board and Board Committees.
- Support the successful establishment of the Swiss legal entity and the completion of all finance-related activities required to obtain and maintain a Swiss banking licence.
- Lead the development and implementation of finance, treasury, tax, regulatory reporting and control capabilities required to support a regulated Swiss banking entity.
- Partner with regulators, external advisers and internal stakeholders to demonstrate financial readiness, governance effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the finance operating model, systems, processes and resources are fit for purpose ahead of licence approval and business launch.
- Lead the financial management of the Swiss legal entity, ensuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of all financial information.
- Maintain an effective financial control environment and ensure compliance with Group policies, accounting standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee statutory reporting, external audits and financial governance activities following banking licence approval.
- Ensure appropriate oversight of corporate tax compliance, tax reporting and transfer pricing arrangements, working closely with external advisers and Group Tax specialists.
- Own the finance risk and control framework, including substantiation, reconciliation and financial control activities required to maintain the integrity of the Swiss legal entity’s financial records.
