This position is located within the Judicial Support and Cooperation Section (JSCS) of the International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism (IIIM). The purpose of this position is to strengthen cooperation with the Independent Institution on Missing Persons for Syria (IIMP) by facilitating the sharing with the IIMP, as appropriate and with the sources’ consent, of information relevant to the search for missing persons.

Under the overall supervision of the JSCS Chief, the incumbent will directly report to the JSCS Legal Officer in charge of the missing persons portfolio.
