About The Team You Are JoiningYou will join a forward-looking Architecture team, consisting of Domain, Solution, Integration and Enterprise Architects. You will provide Strategic Architecture Management and help shape the strategic technology direction of our organization, ensuring alignment of IT solutions with business objectives. You will report directly to the Head of Architecture and Solution Design to drive innovation for IATA and the aviation industry.
Team responsibilities include developing architectural vision, creating comprehensive frameworks, designing long-term technology roadmaps, and establishing governance principles and standards. You will also manage technological complexity and interdependencies across the organization.
What Your Day Would Be LikeThe Architecture team designs and implements enterprise-wide unified solutions, establishes technology standards, and provides guidance on technology investments. As the Senior Enterprise Architect, you will work on Business Capabilities relating to Aviation such as Operational Safety and Security, shaping the technology roadmap to deliver high-quality Digital Products and Services now and in the future.
To Achieve This, You Will- Collaborate with IATA and Industry business leaders to understand strategic goals and define technology requirements.
- Develop and maintain architecture blueprints and roadmaps that guide technology decisions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews and ensure adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with project managers, developers, and product owners to ensure successful delivery of IT projects within an Agile SCRUM environment.
- Minimum 8-10 years of strategic IT experience and advanced knowledge in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (preferably TOGAF).
- Advanced Business Process and Data Modelling.
- Executive-level communication.
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent.
