Role Summary
Organization has introduced the Digital Factory Program (DFP) to digitally unify and elevate global manufacturing and supply chain operations through integrated systems and optimized processes. This transformation enables smarter decisions, greater efficiency, and scalable growth to achieve top quartile performance.
As the Global TOM/MD Lead for DFP, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the Target Operating Model (TOM) and Master Data (MD) strategy across all sites and work streams. You will ensure harmonization of operational processes and master data structures to support the deployment of MES, WMS, LIMS, ERP, and OT platforms. You will lead cross-functional collaboration to establish global standards, ownership models, and governance frameworks for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Define and implement the global TOM for manufacturing, QA/QC, and supply chain operations.
- Harmonize operational processes across sites to enable standardized deployment of digital solutions.
- Establish process ownership, governance structures, and decision-making frameworks.
- Collaborate with business owners to align TOM with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Master Data (MD)
- Define the global master data strategy and governance model for operations.
- Ensure consistency and integrity of master data across MES, WMS, LIMS, ERP, and OT systems.
- Lead the development of master data templates and standards for core factory processes.
- Coordinate with IT and business teams to implement data ownership and stewardship models.
- Execution & Coordination
- Support deployment planning and readiness assessments for TOM and MD streams.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure alignment of site-level implementations with global TOM/MD frameworks.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to drive adoption and understanding.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as the central point of contact for TOM/MD topics within the DFP.
- Engage with site leadership, business owners, and functional teams to ensure buy-in.
- Provide regular updates to program leadership and sponsors.
- Support change management and communication strategies related to TOM/MD.
- Deliverables
- Global TOM framework and documentation.
- Master data strategy and governance model.
- Standardized master data templates for MES, WMS, LIMS, ERP, and OT.
- Site readiness assessments and deployment plans.
- Training materials and workshop facilitation guides.
- TOM/MD dashboards and performance reports.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in operational excellence, master data management, or digital transformation.
- Proven track record in defining and implementing TOM and MD strategies in manufacturing or supply chain.
- Strong understanding of MES, WMS, LIMS, ERP, and OT systems.
- Experience in international and matrix environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with Infor M3, Körber PAS-X MES, Lab Vantage LIMS, and Aveva OT platforms.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 maturity models and digital factory frameworks.
- Certification in data governance, operational excellence, or project management.
- Experience with global master data harmonization initiatives.
