IT Business Analyst, Data Analyst
As a key member of the Development Services team, reporting directly to the Product Owner or Team Lead, the Business Analyst will support the integration and implementation of enterprise solutions, ensuring strong alignment with the company’s operational goals.
In this role, you will help position IT as a strategic business partner, one that understands business needs and enhances processes and operations through effective, scalable technology.
We are seeking candidates with exceptional organizational skills and a strong process‑oriented mindset, who are comfortable working with complex enterprise systems, cross‑functional workflows, best practices, and a broad application landscape.
Strong communication skills are essential for driving clarity around business requirements and presenting solution options to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across multiple locations.
Success in this role requires a constant focus on delivering simple, holistic, and intuitive user experiences. You will oversee the full workstream under your responsibility and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure the solution meets their needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead internal meetings with relevant stakeholders to formalize business requirements and ensure expected outcomes for the stream you manage.
- Define and document new product capabilities by translating business needs into functional system features.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for both technical and functional aspects of the assigned solution area.
- Design solutions by prioritizing native or out‑of‑the‑box features and using configuration and code that follow best practices, minimizing technical debt and supporting long‑term scalability.
- Participate in all stages of solution delivery, from ideation to production stabilization, including configuration, unit testing, data management activities, and the use of deployment automation tools, while adhering to IT‑controlled procedures.
- Experience working with enterprise platforms or applications supporting business operations.
- Mandatory experience working with distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones.
- English proficiency at C1 level is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a consultative approach and the ability to build strong partnerships with business counterparts.
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain a hands‑on approach.
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure Dev Ops or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Experience in the logistics or shipping industry is a very strong plus.
