Your Impact

The Director, Corporate Business Innovation is responsible for driving enterprise‑level innovation, from early opportunity discovery to business cases validation and scalable execution plan and roadmap delivery. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, business development, transformation, and innovation, working in collaboration with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to convert ideas into tangible outcomes. You will shape the corporate innovation agenda based on business needs, foster a culture of experimentation, and ensure innovation efforts are aligned with strategic priorities and measurable value creation.

Journey so far
  • Lead the identification, design, and development of strategic innovation opportunities, from insight generation and ideation through validation, piloting, and scaling.
  • Translate market trends, customer insights, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics into actionable innovation themes and initiatives.
  • Position innovation as a core pillar of corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with long‑term business objectives and value creation goals.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Strategy, Finance, Operations, IT, Marketing, HR, and Business Units to deliver integrated, enterprise‑wide solutions.
  • Build and manage innovation pipelines, portfolios, and roadmaps, balancing incremental improvements with breakthrough opportunities.
  • Develop robust business cases, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and ROI analysis, to support executive decision‑making.
  • Design and facilitate innovation frameworks, methodologies, and governance, fostering a culture of experimentation, learning, and accountability.
  • Engage with external ecosystems—startups, scale‑ups, academic institutions, technology partners, and consultants—to accelerate innovation and access new capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling executive‑level presentations and narratives, clearly articulating strategic intent, progress, and impact.
  • Track performance and outcomes, ensuring innovation initiatives deliver measurable business value and scalability.
Your Essentials
  • 15+ years of experience across corporate strategy, business innovation, transformation, consulting, or venture development, ideally within complex, international organizations.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering innovation initiatives that translate into tangible business results.
  • Strong ability to balance visionary, future‑oriented thinking, financial acumen, and operational feasibility.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board level.
  • Advanced facilitation and leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams through volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity environments.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling capabilities; able to communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact.
  • High level of comfort with data, financial modeling, and business case development.
  • Curiosity‑driven mindset with a passion for continuous learning and experimentation.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and modern collaboration tools; familiarity with digital and AI‑enabled innovation tools is a plus.
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required (approx. 20–30%).
  • Right to work in Switzerland / EU.
