Senior Technical Lead Role Overview

We need a proactive, hands‑on Technical IT Lead who will work across data & integration architecture, Dev Ops, and cloud strategy to drive modernization and scalability.

Given our lean team structure , this role is a mix of strategic leadership and hands‑on execution , working closely with engineering teams to implement best practices.

Our IT landscape consists of numerous legacy solutions , and while we are actively working on modernization, we lack overarching oversight and a clear architecture simplification approach . This role will play a pivotal role in defining and executing a unified architecture strategy to streamline and standardize our systems.

• Develop and execute the data & integration architecture strategy, ensuring seamless connectivity across legacy and modern systems.
• Design scalable integration frameworks and API strategies to facilitate interoperability between our customer portals, and partner systems .
• Define enterprise-wide data governance, security, and standardization practices.
• Lead the transition from legacy integration patterns to a modern, event‑driven architecture.

• Establish Dev Ops best practices , including CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure as code , and automation .
• Architect and implement containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
• Define and drive observability, monitoring, and incident response strategies.
• Partner with engineering teams to optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
• Implement Dev Sec Ops  principles to ensure security is embedded in development and deployment processes.

• Work closely with engineering (outsourced, insourced) teams (no separate architecture team) to ensure best practices are followed in a hands‑on manner.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives .
• Support vendor selection and management for critical technology implementations.
• Act as a technical leader and mentor to developers and engineers, fostering a high‑performing team culture.

• 10+ years in enterprise, solution, or Dev Ops architecture roles and IT Leadership
• Strong expertise in integration architecture, APIs, event‑driven architecture, and microservices .
• Proven track record in Dev Ops implementation , including CI / CD, automation, and cloud‑native solutions.
• Experience working in lean, high‑performance teams with a hands‑on approach .
• Ability to drive technical strategy while actively executing solutions .
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams .
