We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join a global energy trading environment, focusing on Back Office operations within Gas & Power trading
.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop deep expertise across software development, business analysis, and project management
, while contributing to business intelligence initiatives within critical operational domains such as confirmations, clearing, invoicing, and reconciliation
.

You will play a key role in driving process improvements, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives
, ensuring operational excellence and supporting the continuous evolution of Back Office functions

• Act as the interface between business and IT teams to gather and translate requirements
• Create and manage user stories, features, and product backlog
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, workshops)
• Lead testing activities (UAT, defect tracking, validation)
• Provide functional support and user training
• Monitor and resolve production issues and bugs
• Contribute to application maintenance and enhancements
• Define and prioritize product roadmap and releases
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives
• Ensure alignment between business needs, product strategy, and delivery

Degree in IT, Business Analysis, or Project Management

Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst in a trading or commodities environment

Strong understanding of Back Office processes (confirmations, invoicing, reconciliation, clearing)

Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban)

Hands‑on experience with testing management and defect tracking

Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Fluent English required;
French is a plus
