Job Overview

AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. The Solutions Architect role focuses on designing cloud architectures for Retail and Consumer Goods industry challenges, working closely with AWS customers, professional services, partners, and internal teams to build, refine, and scale solutions.

• Build technical relationships with customers and act as a trusted advisor.
• Design, build, and refine cloud architectural solutions for Retail and Consumer Goods industry challenges.
• Collaborate with AWS Professional Services, AWS Partners, and customers to scale solutions.
• Create and share best‑practice technical content (white papers, code samples, blog posts).
• Evangelize and educate about AWS technology and industry trends.
• Travel up to 30% of the time as required.

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Experience leading or developing high‑quality, enterprise‑scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive‑level stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture.

• 5+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
• Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Experience with generative AI and agentic AI solutions in enterprise contexts.
