Location: Genf
We are looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Technician to join our IT team based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Your MissionReporting to the IT Service Desk Supervisor and working as part of the European Service Desk team, you will provide first‑and second‑level technical support to end users, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and user satisfaction.
You will also contribute to IT asset management, administration of internal systems, and the implementation of local and international IT projects.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and password‑related requests.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, Exchange, and Intune environments.
- Maintain ownership of assigned tickets and provide regular updates to end users.
- Participate in IT asset lifecycle management and inventory control.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with European IT teams and contribute to ongoing IT projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and user experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT Service Desk or IT Support role.
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft‑based environments.
- Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Outlook and Exchange
- PC, laptop, tablet, and mobile device support
- Printers and peripheral devices
- Network switches and wireless devices
- Mobile device configuration and troubleshooting
- Power Shell
- Basic Windows Server administration
- Knowledge of ITIL practices (Incident, Request, Asset Management, SLA management)
- Customer‑focused mindset and commitment to service excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Team‑oriented with a collaborative approach
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
