We are supporting a leading international private banking institution in the search for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong Avaloq development expertise
.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys acting as the bridge between business and technology while remaining hands-on in development. You will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and implement them within the Avaloq platform.

A strong understanding of banking processes is essential, with Accounting knowledge being a significant advantage.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and challenge functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Design robust and scalable solutions within the Avaloq platform.
• Develop and customize Avaloq functionalities using Avaloq Script and PL/SQL
  .
• Participate in technical analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work closely with developers, architects, testers, and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to continuous improvements of existing applications and processes.
• Ensure solutions comply with development standards and banking best practices.
• Support incident analysis and provide technical expertise for complex issues.

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking industry
  .
• Proven experience working on Avaloq projects.
• Mandatory hands-on development experience in Avaloq Script and PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.

• Experience with Banking Accounting processes or Accounting modules within Avaloq.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting or Financial Reporting.
• Experience working in private banking or wealth management environments.
• French is an advantage.
