IT Tooling ​/ DevOps Specialist - Consultant

We are seeking an experienced IT Tooling / Dev Ops Specialist to improve the IT tooling platform that support the organization’s Software Development Life Cycle - SDLC.

The role sits within a team of 13 people in charge of the administration, maintenance, support, and evolution of more than 15 Dev Ops and SDLC tools among which Git, Ansible Automation Platform, Azure Dev Ops, Artifactory, ...

The team is organized around four main streams:

• Dev Ops onboarding of application and infrastructure teams
• IT tooling platform enhancements / optimization / maintenance
• Dev Ops governance definition
• User support

While contributing to platform maintenance and user support activities, the primary focus of this role will be the platform enhancements, optimization, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across the IT tooling landscape.

• Propose and implement enhancements to existing tools such as Git, Azure Dev Ops, Ansible Automation Platform, Artifactory, ...
• Assess new features, plugins, integrations, and automation opportunities to improve developer experience and operational efficiency
• Define and maintain platform configuration standards, usage guidelines, governance models, and best practices
• Contribute to the onboarding and the support of users
• Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reliability, scalability, usability, security, and cost efficiency
• Partner with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure tooling platforms remain aligned with enterprise standards and technology strategy
• Contribute to the definition and execution of the IT tooling roadmap.

• 5+ years of hands-on Dev Ops tools experience, especially with Azure Dev Ops Jira, Ansible Automated Platform and Git
• Strong experience designing and implementing Dev Ops solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to design solutions where no standard pattern exists

• Tools: GIT, Azure Dev Ops Server, Docker, Sonar Qube, Artifactory, Ansible Automated Platform, App Dynamics, JIRA, Open Shift, confluence
• Languages:
  
  python , Power Shell, ksh, groovy, Ansible Experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery, scripting for tasks automation.

• Ability to prioritize competing demands across operations, support, onboarding, and enhancement activities
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across IT, development, security, infrastructure, and business teams
• Ability to translate user needs and operational pain points into actionable platform improvements
• Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills
