As part of one of our clients' ongoing IT activities, we are currently looking for an experienced Desktop & Application Packaging Engineer to strengthen their team.

You will be responsible for the packaging, testing, deployment and lifecycle management of Windows applications across a modern workplace environment based on Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager and Windows 11
.

• Package, test and deploy Windows applications using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Create and maintain application packages including MSI, MSIX, App V, EXE wrappers and Intune Win

• Manage the complete application lifecycle including packaging, testing, deployment, updates, retirement and documentation
• Manage third party application updates using Patch My PC and contribute to improving patching compliance
• Troubleshoot application deployment issues across Intune, SCCM and Windows 11
• Develop and maintain deployment and automation scripts using Power Shell and Power Shell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT)
• Analyse deployment logs including SCCM logs, Intune Management Extension logs and Windows Event Logs
• Contribute to the stability, standardisation and continuous improvement of the desktop environment

• Proven professional experience in Desktop Engineering and Application Packaging
• Advanced hands on expertise with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune
  , particularly Win
  32 application packaging
• Strong experience with Power Shell and PSADT scripting
• Good knowledge of Windows 11
  , Windows Registry, permissions and user profiles
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience analysing application and deployment logs
• Experience with virtual desktop environments such as VMware, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365
• Experience with Patch My PC would be an advantage
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and Change Management
