Operations Manager

You will bring deep expertise in container terminal operations, a data‑driven mindset, and the ability to lead cross‑terminal initiatives that deliver measurable impact. • Collaborate with terminal leadership and operational teams to develop action plans and initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and capacity.
• Track and report on the progress of improvement initiatives, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for further optimization.
• Implement performance improvement projects, including process reengineering, technology upgrades, and workforce optimization initiatives.
• Support terminals staff on best practices, standard operating procedures, and productivity enhancement techniques always prioritizing safety.
• Ensure Terminals compliance with TiL Minimum Health and Safety requirements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organization by promoting a mindset of innovation, learning, and adaptation.
• Lead cross‑terminal activities for continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen
• Produce regular reports on terminal capacity, productivity, and volume, providing insights to management and stakeholders to support decision‑making processes.
• Support the implementation of master plan initiatives, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as needed.

• 5-10 years of experience in Operations/Efficiency/Operational Excellence within container terminals.
• Thorough knowledge of terminal operating procedures, systems, and efficient drivers.
• Proven track record in analyzing operations, enhancing performance, and optimizing processes within the container sector.
• Ability to manage multiple priority projects logically, consistently, and accurately.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma expertise is beneficial.
• Proficient in written and verbal English, with expertise in concise and impactful communication through writing and presentations, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
