Are you a Mechanical technician with a passion for challenging and exciting projects in the field of beam instrumentation for particle accelerators? Then seize the opportunity!
Join the CERN Beam instrumentation group (BI) and be part of the team working on the production of Beam Loss Monitors for the CERN injectors and the High Luminosity LHC. You will be part of a multicultural diverse team working at the forefront of the scientific research, working in a very stimulating environment that will help you develop your skills in precision mechanics, assembly, vacuum testing, logistics, quality control, problem solving, documentation and ramp-up of a production.
Besure to meet the eligibility criteria
- By the Final date to receive applications, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree. You can’t hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD.
- You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
